2018-2019 Evaluation Information
Evalutations are just around the corner. We are excited to be considered for you choice in in competitive cheer. As we approach evaluation season we encourage you and your family to stop by and meet our family of coaches and athletes and check out the training facility any time.
Cheer practices are typically scheduled to start around 5:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM.

Tues-Thurs May 8-10th Evaluations:
12 & Under (as of August 31, 2018) 5-6:30 p.m.
13 & Over (as of August 31, 2018) 7- 8:30 p.m.

You will need to complete the annual registration form, photo release form, and tryout evaluation form. In addition to completing the above referenced forms you will need to bring a copy of your birth certificate and a photo.
**Please wear non-baggy, athletic attire in blue, black or white; cheerleading or athletics shoes, NO jewelry, and hair pulled into a high ponytail**
We will have a commitment meeting on Friday, May 11th. Leveled practices will be held May 14th-24th and a Team reveal party will be approximately May 27th.
Questions & Answers
Q. What are the program costs?
A. The costs vary greatly per person in a season depending on the program your athlete is a part of. Elite teams can expect to pay up to $3500 for the entire season. Prep, Novice, and FUNdamentals will cost considerably less. Not included in this estimated are costs such as: travel expenses, competition spectator admission, Nationals and Bid Events.
Q. Does Central Florida Athletics have a 501 (c) (3)?
A. Central Florida Athletics Booster Club has a 501 (c) 3
Q. Will there be fund raising opportunities to help off-set the cost?
A. Yes. We understand that All Star Cheerleading is an expensive sport. We provide fundraising opportunities through our parent organized booster club.
Q. Does everyone make a team?
A. Yes, everyone will be placed on a team.
Q. How are teams selected?
A. When selecting our teams, we start with stunt positions and then defer to tumbling. We build each team similar to how one would build a football team with each person filling a particular spot. Each team has a set number of cheerleaders for each position; depending on the size of the team.
Q. How often do the teams practice?
A. Each team practices 2 days a week. Typically Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Beginning in September all teams will have one additional Sunday practice per month. Cheerleading is a Team activity therefore attendance is very, very important to the success of your athlete’s team.
Q. When and where are the competitions?
A. Competitions are typically located throughout Central Florida. Some competitions may be further away and require overnight hotel stays. The 2018–2019 competition season starts in December 2018 and runs through April 2019. Competitions are always on the weekends.

Program Cost and Payment Schedule
We understand that All-Star Cheer is an expensive sport. Therefore we offer our team families payment options.
Each athlete will be charged a monthly fee, which varies per team. This will include monthly workout and all necessities for the season: Registration fee, competition fees, practice clothes, shoes, choreography, music, competition bow, competition make up, sponsor shirt, bag, and a 2 day in house skills camp.
Once the 2018–2019 teams are announced you will receive a packet with exact costs for your athlete’s team. All monthly payments are due the by the 1st of every month except for May; May’s payment is due prior to the first practice beginning May 8th.
